Target group:

Objective:

The participants apply the basic measures of reanimation (BLS) including automatic defibrillation (AED) in children and adults in different situations, taking into account one’s own safety. You:

  • alert correctly
  • take your own safety into account when providing assistance
  • apply the basic skills of reanimation, cardiac massage, ventilation and defibrillation using AED to adult and child training models
  • recognize the typical characteristics of cardiovascular arrest, myocardial infarction and stroke and explain preventive options
  • can perform a correct recovery position
  • explain the procedures for airway obstruction by foreign objects
  • implement BLS measures in concrete, target group-oriented case scenarios
  • deal with your own motivation to provide aid
  • describe how to deal with first aid-inhibiting factors


Content:

The course covers correct emergency response for unconscious and responsive patients. Participants learn to recognise the signs of cardiac arrest, perform a chest massage and know how to handle a defibrillator (AED). The focus is adapted to the needs of the target audience.

6 hours

Course schedule:
9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 13.00 pm to 16.00 pm
continuous attendance time is required

Diploma:
At the end of the course, the graduates receive a certificate of participation according to SRC.

Costs:
CHF 310.-

 

Cancellations will be accepted up to 10 days prior to the start of the course, otherwise the course will be charged. The course can be cancelled at short notice if the number of participants is too low. You will receive a confirmation after registration, this confirmation is also valid as an invitation.
