Modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease include:
During a 15-minute appointment, your cholesterol and blood sugar will be checked with just a small prick of the finger. Your blood pressure and body mass index will also be measured. In addition, you'll be asked questions regarding your smoking habits, stress, diet and exercise behavior.
Using this information, your heart attack and stroke risk over the next ten years will be calculated. At the end, you'll receive brief, one-on-one counseling.
The specialists from the Institut für Arbeitsmedizin ifa will carry out the campaign at your location.
Your results are subject to medical confidentiality and may not be given to the employer.
